Since the simple holly design on the lampwork beads made me smile, so I had to name the resulting handmade earrings CHEERFUL CHRISTMAS. And what cheerful jewelry they are! The holiday earrings feature white handmade lampwork glass beads with a festive red and green holly design. Three sets of holly were created on each bead, each leaf and berry individually hand applied by the lampwork artist. To add more than a bit of sparkle to the earrings, faceted Swarovski crystals were nestled into the top and bottom of each lampwork bead. The lovely green color is called "fern", a perfect complement to the green leaves of the holly. To finish the CHEERFUL CHRISTMAS holiday earrings, each component was strung on sterling silver headpins: a Swarovski crystal, a lampwork bead and a Swarovski crystal. The top of each headpin was carefully wire wrapped into a loop and connected to sterling silver French hook earwires. The CHEERFUL CHRISTMAS earrings are a gorgeously simple design that packs a huge festive punch.
