Want a gorgeous every day pair of handmade earrings? CANYON ROAD is it! CANYON ROAD was created with turquoise, copper, brass and sterling silver - beautiful jewelry! Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs handmade these one of a kind (OOAK) earthy looking chain maille earrings! To provide subtle color and wonderful texture to the CANYON ROAD earrings, two types of metal rings were used: copper closed rings and brass jump rings. Two brass jump rings were individually connected to three copper closed rings to make a simple box chain for the length of the earrings. The warm glow of the copper blends perfectly with the subtle color of the brass. A patina will eventually develop on the copper adding a very rich color.

I love turquoise with copper and brass, so to add even more pizzazz to the CANYON ROAD earrings, lovely turquoise rounds were wire-wrapped to the bottom of the earrings. The turquoise is a lovely blue color with black matrix running through out. The matrix picks up the darker tones in the play of shadow in the chain maille. Copper 2mm beads act as a frame on the top and bottom of the turquoise to highlight the stone. The chain maille was attached to a pair of sterling silver earwires to finish CANYON ROAD beautifully. A copper bead accent was added to the earwires to tie all the metal together. These are a gorgeous pair of earrings on! Here's the important information for CANYON ROAD
