The meaningful BREATHE handmade necklace radiates a mindfulness to "just breathe" whenever life gets a bit stressful. A perfect piece of jewelry for the woman who meditates or practices yoga, the designer necklace features a one of a kind artisan made ceramic pendant and blue sodalite gemstones beads. The organic pendant, individually created by Sue of susiqbeads, has the word “breathe” impressed into the clay. Hand painted in shades of rosy beige, blue, red and white, the rustic pendant was left unglazed on the back. The pendant was then fired twice in her kiln for strength and durability. A heavy duty copper jump rings connects the pendant to the main body of the necklace.

Because there is a bit of sky blue glaze at the top of the pendant, blue sodalite was chosen to complement the piece perfectly. Sodalite is a beautiful gemstone known for its mottled blue colors, shading from the very palest blue to a blue that is sometimes so dark it looks almost black. Two shapes of sodalite were used: heishe and rounds. Each grouping of the stones are separated by glowing copper beads. To finish the necklace, a lovely twisted copper toggle clasp set was used.
