Filled with the sacred sound of Om, the AUM handmade pendant necklace is a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who practices yoga, meditates or is a Buddhist. The one of a kind necklace features a solid brass pendant made by an artisan in Thailand, yellow aragonite gemstones and turquoise Czech glass discs. The meaningful Om symbol is centered in the middle of the pendant and is raised against the background, as is the granulated dot decoration around the edge of the pendant, adding beautiful texture. The pendant was given a dark patina to add an ancient feel and then polished to help bring out the incredible detailing. The back of the bronze pendant is silky smooth.

To perfectly highlight the rich color of the bronze Om pendant, straw yellow aragonite gemstone rounds in two sizes and small turquoise color Czech glass beads were used. Aragonite is a metamorphic gemstone found in stalactites or around natural hot springs. The aragonite used in the necklace shades from pale yellow to darker yellow; some of the rounds are translucent and some are opaque. Between each set of three larger aragonite beads are two small aragonite rounds. To add a bit of unexpected color, turquoise colored Czech glass are found between each set of small rounds. Small brass beads separate each grouping of gemstones. A copper toggle clasp securely fastens the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the AUM necklace was created for the woman who loves one of a kind, spiritual jewelry.
