Tribal Woman Earrings, Boho Ceramic Czech Glass Handmade Jewelry Gift
Item Description
The fun OH, NO! handmade earrings are perfect to wear when you just can't take it anymore and need to let people know (maybe co-workers? kids? spouse?) exactly how you feel! Smile-inducing boho jewelry, the lightweight earrings were created with artisan tribal-inspired ceramic drops, two types of glass beads and sterling silver. The kiln fired ceramic shield-shaped drops have a wonderful rustic vibe. A surprised woman with hair standing on end was etched into beige clay. The mouth is a circle as if to say “oh, no!” The arms are x’s and dots with an arrow shaped body. A light yellow glaze was applied and the etched areas were hand painted with a dark brown to bring out the design. The back side of the dangles are glazed with dark brown. Since they were individually handmade, the drops are very similar but not exactly the same.
Complementing the dangles are spotted Czech glass beads and frosted Czech glass discs. The lower Czech glass beads are black with random dots In pale yellow with hints of green. Since the beads are faceted, they add subtle sparkle. Above each spotted bead is a frosted pale yellow Czech glass disc. The discs glows beautifully since they are translucent. Sterling silver French hook earwires with faceted silver glass beads finish the fun earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind OH, NO! earrings are a wonderful gift for the woman who loves unique jewelry, loves life and has more than a bit of boho in her.
