The BUZZING handmade necklace is a wonderful gift for the woman who adores unique artisan made jewelry! The gemstone necklace features a bumblebee jasper pendant, silvery gray top drilled freshwater pearls, micro faceted chrome glass beads and sterling silver. Bumblebee jasper is an eye-catching, fairly rare gemstone with vibrant yellow, orange, gray and black banding, reminiscent of a bumblebee. Even though its trade name is bumblebee “jasper,” the gemstone is actually a variety of calcite found near the Papandayan volcano in Indonesia. Domed on the front and flat on the back, the beautiful round pendant has multiple colorful bands, the design almost looking like a wavy watercolor painting. A sterling silver bail with a flower design on the back securely fastens the pendant to the main body of the necklace.

Perfectly highlighting the pendant are AA quality silvery gray freshwater pearls and dark chrome glass beads. The luminous teardrop-shaped pearls are top drilled so they alternate the way they lie, adding wonderful texture to the necklace design. Between every grouping of pearls is a micro faceted glass czech glass bead in a dark chrome gray color. A textured sterling silver toggle clasp set finishes the necklace.
