The PRAY FOR US handmade necklace is a perfect jewelry gift for any woman who adores St. Francis, and has a deep, abiding love for animals and the environment. The one of a kind necklace features a folk art-style St. Francis and animals pendant, earthy picture jasper and sterling silver. The rectangular pendant was made in Italy, a replica of an antique religious medal. It has a beautiful raised design of St Francis gazing up towards the heavens, a wolf at his side, a sunflower (or sun), two doves of peace, a butterfly and two fish. On the back “Pray For Us” is found in raised letters along with “Italy" in the bottom right corner. The pendant has a glowing semi-matte silver finish (that doesn’t show up well in the photos) over copper.

For an earthy feel, two sizes of round picture jasper gemstones and small sterling beads were used for the main body of the necklace. Picture jasper is known for its patterns that resemble natural scenes, such as deserts, forests, or mountain ranges in many shades of brown from pale to dark. A sleek sterling silver s-clasp finishes the gorgeous necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the PRAY FOR US was created for the woman who loves inspirational, spiritual jewelry that features St. Francis, who is one of the most venerated figures in Christianity.

The PRAY FOR US artisan necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals.
