Inspired by the breathtaking beauty of purple wisteria vines, the WISTERIA handmade earrings are definitely eye catching! A one of a kind jewelry gift for the flower lover, the wisteria-inspired earrings feature mottled shades of purple and green lampwork beads, frosted lilac lampwork beads and purple amethyst gemstones. The lampwork glass beads on the bottom were individually artisan made from opaque white glass. While still in their molten stage, dark purple, lilac, lavender and green glass frit were added to give the enchanting speckled look. Since the high gloss lampwork beads are individually handmade, they are very similar but not exactly the same.
Stacked on top of each, separated by a sterling silver daisy spacer, is another lampwork bead, also artisan handmade, this time a translucent lavender purple. The beads have a frosted, sea glass look that absolutely glows when the earrings are worn. Above each is a round, dark purple amethyst gemstone. The richly-colored amethyst is translucent and also glows in the light. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the exquisite earrings. ***Please note: in some of the photos the sterling looks tarnished - rest assured, it is not.
