Honey Bees Flowers Earrings, Enamel Lampwork Glass Handmade Jewelry

Reminiscent of a field of flowers with busy honey bee pollinators, the whimsical API E FIORI handmade earrings are a wonderful jewelry gift for the woman who loves both honey bees and colorful flowers! The one of a kind earrings feature artisan enamel honey bee and flowers dangles, spotted lampwork glass beads and frosted light purple Czech glass discs. The smile-inducing dangles were created from white enamel glass powder on copper. A permanent decal was added and all were were kiln fused at 1475 degrees F for a high gloss finish. Adding a whimsical touch to the earrings, the design on each dangle is similar but also different. One dangle has a honey bee looking straight on with the head of another bee peering in on the left edge. The other has a bee seen from the side and a bee nectaring on a flower near the bottom. The flowers are a beautiful colorful combination of yellow dandelions, red poppies, lilac bellflowers and pinkish alstroemeria, all lovely nectar plants. The back of each dangle is finished in heathery medium blue enamel. ***Please note: Even though the enamel charms are very durable, they are glass fused to copper. If an earring is dropped on a hard surface, the glass can chip or crack.
To highlight the colors found in the bees and flower dangles, stacked above are spotted lampwork glass beads and frosted Czech glass discs. The lampwork beads were individually artisan handmade from translucent pale pink glass. To add random dots, darker pink, brown and white glass frit was added when the lampwork beads were still in their molten stage. Since the glass beads are transparent, they glow when the earrings are worn. Above the lampwork beads, separated by copper disc spacers, are two frosted light purple Czech glass discs that are also translucent. Sterling silver French hook earwires with a copper bead accent finishes the eye-catching earring. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the unique API E FIORI bees and flower earrings were created for the woman who loves one of a kind earrings that are perfect for spring, summer and fall wear! “Api e fiori” is Italian for “bees and flowers.”

Silver is a metal of love and healing; it is a mirror to the soul, helping us to see ourselves as others see us.
The API E FIORI handmade bees and flower earrings were carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. They will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag with tissue, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
