Featuring a hand cast pendant with a traditional Nepalese shield design, the PROTECTION handmade necklace is a unique gift for the woman who loves symbolic jewelry. Created with an eye-catching, fair trade shield talisman pendant, the necklace also features red jasper gemstones, copper and sterling silver. An ancient symbol of spiritual and physical protection, the shield pendant was artisan made in Nepal from brass. Shiny raised flowers and a myriad of raised dots create a flowing textured design against a flat matte metal background. The back is smooth with a somewhat rustic look.
Perfectly complementing the shield pendant are earthy red jasper gemstones. As its name implies, red jasper is primarily found in shades of red with natural darker hematite inclusions, which these gemstones have. In groups of three, a single red jasper flanked on each side by a copper bicone separates each group. Five jasper gemstones finish the back. A wavy textured copper toggle clasp set securely fastens the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the PROTECTION necklace was created for the woman who loves unique jewelry with great symbolism!

The one of a kind PROTECTION artisan shield pendant necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals.
