Item Description
Two beautiful gemstones perfectly combine to create the one of a kind MOONS AND SKY necklace, like seven radiant moons in a dark blue sky! Elegantly eye-catching handmade jewelry, the necklace features frosted white crackle quartz, deep blue lapis lazuli and sterling silver. Each round quartz bead has a multitude of tiny internal fractures. As light enters the quartz, it strikes the internal fractures and reflects back, sparkling and glowing under good light. Each a bit different from the other, the crackle quartz has a semi-matte finish for even more glow. Sterling silver daisy spacers and small sterling silver beads separate the quartz from the lapis lazuli. Please note: the crackle quartz is actually pure white in color - most photos show them as having a bit of yellowish tinge to them due to being photographed on a white artist board.
Lapis lazuli, often referred to as the “stone of heaven,” has been a prized gemstone since antiquity for its intense blue color, ranging from almost black to a medium blue, such as the lapis used in this necklace. Speckles of pyrite are found in the lapis, looking like stars. Besides separating the crackle quartz, lapis finishes the back of the necklace, each piece separated by a small sterling bead. A high quality pewter s-clasp securely fastens the necklace when worn. The one of a kind MOONS AND SKY gemstone necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals. It will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
