The one of a kind SOUTHWEST DAYDREAMS necklace is filled with the exquisite beauty of native turquoise gemstones, a perfect gift for the woman who loves chunky statement jewelry! Featuring rustic teardrop-shaped real turquoise nuggets, the necklace also has gleaming sterling silver beads and a textured sterling silver hook clasp. Since turquoise is a soft stone, the beautiful Nevada Fox turquoise has been stabilized so it is no longer porous, to add hardness and to lock in the lovely colors. In various shades of earthy blue, green and brown, the gemstones are rustic teardrop-shaped and are graduated, larger pieces in the front, smaller in the back. Because of their shape, the turquoise teardrops do not all lay flat. Instead some pieces will point upwards, adding wonderful, eye-catching texture to the jewelry design.
To finish the amazing turquoise necklace, sterling silver beads were added to the back. A textured sterling silver hook clasp set was chosen to securely fasten the necklace whenever it is worn.
