Eye-catching handmade jewelry for the woman who loves the night skies, the one of a kind SILVER STARS earrings were created with Hill Tribes fine silver star beads, aurora Czech glass discs, aurora Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. Individually artisan made high in the mountains of Thailand, the Karen Hill Tribes star beads were crafted in the traditional manner from fine silver, a silver more pure than sterling silver. Eight rays radiate from a raised center on the two-sided disc beads. They were given a patina and then polished which enhanced the star design. Since the beads were individually handmade, they are very similar but also a bit different. ***Please note: the photos were taken with a macro lens which for some reason caused the star beads to look darker than they actually are. In real life the color is similar to polished heirloom silver.

Continuing with the star theme and adding amazing sparkle, smooth Czech glass disc beads and faceted Swarovski crystals were stacked above. Both the Czech beads and the Swarovski crystals are clear but have a color-shifting aurora borealis finish added to ½ of each. As you can see in the photos, the colors are amazing, looking different depending on the angle of the light. Sterling silver ball end earwires finish the lovely earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the unique SILVER STARS earrings were created for the woman who loves one of a kind, star themed jewelry!

Karen Hill Tribes fine silver star beads: app. 14 mm (0.55”)
Czech glass disc beads: app. 6 mm x 4 mm (0.24” x 0.16”); aurora borealis finish
Swarovski crystals: faceted 4 mm crystal with an aurora borealis finish
