Bumblebee Bee Necklace, Fused Glass AAA Quartz Cubes Handmade Jewelry

The meaningful SAVE THE BEES handmade necklace is a wonderful jewelry gift for the woman who loves bees and is concerned about their plummeting numbers worldwide. The unique necklace features an artisan fused glass bumblebee/ honey pendant, exquisite clear quartz gemstone cubes, black Swarovski crystals and copper. The delightful, one of a kind bee pendant was created from several layers of hand cut clear glass. In the middle of the rectangular pendant, a jolly-looking bumblebee was outlined in copper wire and the body was filled in with black and yellow striped glass. Kiln fired for many hours, the edges of the pendant are silky smooth. The front is slightly rounded where the back is flat. As you can see in the photos, there are a few air bubbles in the pendant, a delightful addition. Three copper jump rings securely fasten the bee pendant to the main body of the necklace. *** Please note: the edges of the pendant are clear glass. In many of the photos, the edges reflected my clothing showing up as dark edges that aren’t really there.
To perfectly complement the bumblebee pendant, crystal clear quartz cubes and black Swarovski crystals were used. The quartz is AAA quality, the highest gemstone ranking. They capture and radiate light, gleaming at every movement when the necklace is worn. In the front of the necklace are three groupings of 5 quartz cubes, each cube separated by small copper beads for wonderful drape. A single sparkling 6 mm Swarovski crystal bicone in the darkest black, called “jet” is found between each grouping. Ten quartz cubes make up the back of the necklace, also separated by small copper beads. A solid copper toggle clasp with a swirled design finishes the necklace securely. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SAVE THE BEES pendant necklace was created for the woman who is perhaps a gardener, plants flowers for bees and loves to wear one of a kind artisan jewelry.

The SAVE THE BEES artisan bumblebee pendant necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals. It will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
