The LEI VEICAS handmade necklace is definitely an eye catcher! Perfect for the woman who loves big and bold statement jewelry, the one of a kind necklace features genuine Baltic amber nuggets, hand carved shell beads, red coral and sterling silver. The beautiful amber is a rich blend of honey hues, each piece different from all others. Side drilled, the amber nuggets are somewhat graduated in size, larger in front and smaller in back. Adding unique accents are hand carved shell rounds and red coral rondelles. The round shell beads were individually hand carved with an Asian motif. The lovely beads have a light peach cast to them. One each side of the shell beads, separating them from the amber, are red coral rondelles, sterling silver daisy spacers and sterling rounds. The red coral adds an unexpected pop color to the necklace design. A textured sterling silver hook clasp set securely finishes the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog designs, the LEI VEICAS necklace was created for the woman who loves genuine Baltic amber and one of a kind artisan statement jewelry! Since amber is a stone of good luck, “lei veicas” is Latvian for “good luck.”

Red Coral is said to calm life, to restore harmony in the event of an emotional conflict. Silver is a metal of love and healing; it is a mirror to the soul, helping us to see ourselves as others see us.

The LEI VEICAS necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals. It will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
