Looking like ageless rock art artifacts, the one of a kind TIMELESS earrings are a perfect gift for any woman who adores the magic of petroglyphs. The handmade earrings feature artisan ceramic deer / elk charms, hematite gemstones and sterling silver. The unique charms were individually made from very pale yellow ceramic with a raised deer or elk design sporting a full rack. To add a rustic vibe and to bring out detailing, a dark gray ceramic engobe patina was added. The back side of each dangle also has the engobe patina. Since the deer / elk dangles were individually made, they are very similar but also a bit different.

Adding motion and a wonderful sheen to the earrings design, three dangles of barrel-shaped silver-gray hematite gemstones with a high luster were added. The outer two dangles have two hematite stones separated by sterling silver beads. The middle dangles have three gemstones, also separated by sterling beads. Sterling silver jump rings connect the earrings to the sterling silver French hook earwires. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the ancient-looking TIMELESS deer or elk earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who loves one of a kind, petroglyph-inspired jewelry!

Petroglyphs of elk represent physical strength and endurance. Ceramics represent balance and harmony. Hematite is believed to aid in clarity, balance and calm reasoning.
