The one of a kind DOG LOVE earrings are a perfect Valentine's Day or Mother’s Day gift for the dog lover in your life who wears larger (but lightweight) jewelry! The earrings feature artisan wooden dogs and hearts dangles, red Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The adorable dog dangles were individually made from lightweight wood. The dogs and hearts were laser cut, engraved, hand painted and permanently glued to a somewhat distressed-look pale beige background for a wonderful 3-D effect. The back side is natural wood. For many years of wearing pleasure, the dog dangles were finished with a matte wood spray sealant. *** Please note: even though the dog dangles are sealed, the artist suggests that they should not be worn in the shower, when swimming or during other water activities.

Two sterling silver rings connect the dog dangles to the sterling silver French hook earwires. To add some sparkle and to highlight the red hearts, a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone in a color called “light Siam red” was added to each earwire. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the DOG LOVE earrings were created for the woman who loves her dog and loves one of a kind artisan dog themed jewelry!

Even though man made, crystals (glass) are said to carry the energies of transformation, rebirth and communication. Silver is a metal of love and healing; it is a mirror to the soul, helping us to see ourselves as others see us.

The DOG LOVE artisan earrings were carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. They will be packed in an organza jewelry bag with tissue, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
