Yin Yang Boho Earrings, Rustic Lampwork Fine Silver Handmade Jewelry

Meaningful boho jewelry with a rustic vibe, the handmade HARMONY earrings feature pewter yin and yang charms, etched lampwork glass beads, fine silver petal beads and sterling silver. The aged charms were artisan designed and individually hand cast from lead free Britannia pewter. The design is an ancient one: a raised yin and yang design representing the interplay of two complementary and opposing forces, hoping to achieve harmony and balance. The charms were given a darker patina and then polished to bring out the amazing details (they are much more silvery looking than the photos show). The back side of the charms have a dark patina with a faint yin and yang design along with the artist’s maker’s mark.
Continuing with the rustic, boho feel, are lampwork glass beads and Thai Hill Tribes fine silver petal beads. The lampwork beads were individually artisan handmade with blue glass over black. The beads were acid etched for a unique pitted effect. Artisan made from fine silver (more pure than sterling) high in the hills of Thailand, the six-petaled flower beads have a warm old silver glow. Sterling silver French hook earwires with silver Czech glass bead accent finish the one of a kind earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the HARMONY earrings will be a perfect gift for the woman who loves boho jewelry with an ancient meaning.
