The WOOF handmade necklace is a delightful jewelry gift for the dog lover in your life! The one of a kind necklace features an artisan ceramic woof pendant, vintage red beads, Czech glass beads and sterling silver. The oval shaped pendant was artisan created from off-white porcelain clay with a hand stamped “woof” on the front. So that each letter stands out, a dark brown glaze was added. The pendant itself has a silky matte finish on both sides.

Highlighting the woof pendant are two types of beads: vintage red white heart beads and faceted Czech glass beads. White hearts get their name from an inner core of opaque white glass coated with a layer of translucent colored glass. Made at the turn of the 20th century in Italy as trade beads for Africa, the red beads are very similar in size, but, since they were handmade, some are a bit bigger. Adding amazing sparkle are red Czech glass beads with a shiny metallic coating on ½ of the surface. Sterling silver beads are found on each side of the Czech beads. A heart shaped lobster clasp securely finishes the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the WOOF necklace was created for the woman who adores her dogs and loves wearing one of a kind artisan jewelry!

Silver is a metal of love and healing; it is a mirror to the soul, helping us to see ourselves as others see us.

The WOOF artisan dog rescue necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals. It will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
