If you are looking for an eye-catching, ethnic inspired piece of handmade jewelry that evokes the majesty of Tibet, TIBETAN TEMPO necklace is definitely for you! The one of a kind necklace features a vintage Tibetan turquoise and coral pendant, carnelian, African turquoise jasper, silver glass beads and sterling silver. The focal is a two sided vintage pendant that was handmade at least 40 years ago by a Tibetan artist in the traditional manner. Hand cut blue turquoise with black matrix shows off an intricate leaf and flower design (found on both sides) made from Tibetan silver, a metal alloy. The front of the pendant is set with a piece of orangey-red coral; the back side does not have coral. A large built in bail connects the pendant to the main body of the necklace.

Perfectly complementing the Tibetan pendant are carnelian discs and African turquoise jasper. The carnelian discs were hand cut, sparkling like they were faceted. The color ranges from dark orange to a lighter orange, a lovely ombre. So the necklace would drape beautiful, African turquoise jasper rounds, seven on each side, are scattered through the carnelian, separated by faceted silver Czech glass beads. A textured sterling silver hook clasp finishes the one of a kind necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the TIBETAN TEMPO necklace was created for the woman who adores one of a kind ethnic designs with a vintage pendant!

The TIBETAN TEMPO artisan necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals.
