Whimsically fun, the handmade STAR CHASER pendant necklace is an uplifting jewelry gift for the woman who would love to catch a falling star or is always watching the night sky. A rich blue artisan ceramic pendant with a girl and stars is the focal of the one of a kind necklace. To represent the night sky, faceted blue and white sodalite gemstones, glowing white pearls and sparkling Swarovski crystals complement the pendant beautifully. The high fired, deep blue stoneware ceramic pendant was artisan made from beginning to end. It features an original design, a woman running through the sky with streaming hair and both arms outstretched, reaching for one of three stars. The woman and the stars are slightly raised against the shiny blue background for wonderful texture. As an added bonus, the back of the pendant was left unglazed to act as an essential oil diffuser if wanted - just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil and the porous ceramic will hold the aroma for several days. The pendant is securely fastened to the main body of the pendant with two heavy duty sterling silver jump rings.
Beautiful faceted blue and white sodalite gemstones are found at the front of the necklace, each stone patterned and colored differently from the others. Because they are faceted, they glitter at each movement when the necklace is worn. Small sterling silver beads separate each gemstone. Sparkling like stars in the sky, three faceted clear Swarovski crystal bicones are found separating the groups of sodalite. Glowing moon-like white freshwater pearls are found at the back of the necklace, each group of three separated by small blue sodalite rounds and sterling beads. Since the pearls are freshwater, they are not exactly the same size and are more oval-shaped. The unique necklace is securely finished with a twisted-look sterling silver toggle clasp set. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog designs, the STAR CHASER necklace was created for the woman who loves one of a kind artisan jewelry and perhaps always has her head and heart in the star-filled heavens.

The STAR CHASER artisan necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals. It will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
