The PRAY FOR US necklace is a perfect handmade jewelry gift for the woman who has an abiding love for St. Francis, animals and the environment. The one of a kind necklace features a unique folk art style St. Francis with animals pendant, peacock tube pearls, red garnet and sterling silver. Italian made, the rectangular pendant is a replica of an antique religious medal. It has a beautiful raised design of St Francis gazing upwards to the heavens with a wolf at his side. Also included are a sunflower (or sun), two doves of peace, a butterfly and two fish. On the back “Pray For Us” is found in raised letters along with “Italy" in the bottom right corner. The pendant has a glowing semi-matte silver finish over copper.

For an elegant feel, baroque tube pearls and red garnet discs were used. The pearls are a hard to find shape: a baroque tube with a color shifting peacock color. Each pearl is different from the others, in both shape and colors. Individually hand cut natural red garnet discs, in groups of three and separated by small sterling beads, add rich beauty to the design. A sleek sterling silver s-clasp with raised dots on one side finishes the gorgeous necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the PRAY FOR US necklace was created for the woman who loves inspirational, spiritual jewelry that features St. Francis, who is one of the most venerated figures in Christianity.
