The TORTUGA MARINA handmade necklace is a thoughtful gift for the woman who loves anything to do with the ocean, especially sea turtles! A one of a kind design, the sparkling necklace features an artisan made dichroic glass sea turtle pendant, glowing white pearls, Swarovski crystals, pewter and sterling silver. The sea turtle pendant was made from fused layers of white, cobalt blue, glittering metallic blue and clear glass with a permanent sea turtle decal. The turtle looks like it’s swimming over shimmering blue water with a stripe of white running along the left side. The back of the pendant is mostly white. A patterned pewter bail securely fastens the turtle pendant to the main body of the necklace.
Shiny white pearls and faceted blue Swarovski crystals perfectly highlight the dichroic glass sea turtle pendant. The snow white pearls have an amazing glow, some with an iridescent rainbow look. Because of their somewhat irregular oval shape, they are called “baroque pearls.” Groups of three pearls are separated by sparkling Swarovski crystals in a rich blue called “capri blue,” mimicking the color of the water around the island of Capri. There are five crystals on each side of the necklace. A sleek sterling silver toggle clasps set finishes the unique necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the TORTUGA MARINA necklace was created for the woman who adores wearing one of a kind, artisan designed turtle jewelry! “Tortuga marina” is Spanish for “sea turtle.”

The TORTUGA MARINA artisan necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals.
