Perfect jewelry for the woman who hears the siren call of the sea and loves relaxing on the beach, the unique ISLAND TIME handmade necklace features a unique pairing of beachy bamboo coral spikes and golden tiger's eye. The hand formed bamboo coral spikes, which impart a definite boho tribal look, are a beautiful swirling mix of peachy pink and white, each with one of a kind markings and natural pitting. Some of the spikes have more white and some have more pink. The curved spikes are graduated in size, the largest in front and the smaller in back and have a glossy, glowing polished finish. Faceted golden tiger’s eye and copper beads separate each spike to give elegant drape to the design.
Golden tiger’s eye was chosen to add a wonderful and unexpected complement to the peachy pink and white color of the coral! The faceted tiger’s eye is AA quality with a wonderful cat’s eye chatoyancy, a band of reflected light that seems to move just below the surface of the gemstones (something the photos have a hard time showing). As was mentioned above, each coral spike is separated from its neighbor by a golden tiger’s eye gemstone round and small copper beads. Groupings of three tiger’s eye beads and one grouping of five finish the back of the necklace. To securely fasten the beachy necklace, a patinated solid copper toggle clasp set was used.
