Meditative Rose Art Earrings, Salvador Dali Red Blue Handmade Jewelry

With a simple but powerfully eye-catching scene, the unique MEDITATIVE ROSE handmade art earrings are based on the painting of the same name by Salvador Dali, a world famous Surrealist painter, sculptor, visionary film maker and creator of life-size interactive art. The one of a kind earrings feature artisan created polymer clay rectangles, red Czech glass roller beads, copper and sterling silver. The art dangles were individually created from high quality black polymer clay, formed into a rectangular shape with a permanent art transfer. A black border beautifully frames the mirror image rose “paintings.” For durability and shine, the dangles were given several coats of varnish which, when the light hits just right, looks like artist’s brush strokes (perhaps from Dali?). The iconic painting is of a bright red rose against a rich blue sky with a white cloud above. The mystical-looking stemless red rose, with a drop of water on one petal, is suspended above a yellow sunset and a brown, somewhat desolate landscape with two tiny figures of people. To perfectly highlight the red roses, two premium quality faceted Czech glass roller beads were stacked on top of each dangle. The rustic roller beads were created with translucent bright red glass with a metallic silver Picasso finish that is found in the “cracks” and “pits” of the beads. The roller beads glow in the light, as you can see in photos #2 and #7. Since the red beads are faceted, they provide subtle sparkle to the earrings design. Two copper flower petal spacers, a copper disc spacer and copper bicone bead add additional beauty above the red roller beads. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the earrings.
