Not only are the HORSE LOVE handmade earrings whimsically fun, they are also miniature works of art! Perfect for the horse lover in your life, the one of a kind, lightweight earrings feature hand painted ceramic horses with hearts dangles, faceted rainbow fluorite gemstones, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The shield-shaped ceramic dangles were individually made, hand painted and kiln fired with a high gloss glaze. Two white horses with black manes are lovingly nuzzling each other, highlighted beautifully against a light aqua background with a hint of yellow. For extra eye appeal, a red heart was added to each dangle. The backs of the dangles have a matte brown finish. Since the loving horses were individually hand painted, they are very similar in design but also a bit different.
Two shades of faceted rainbow fluorite gemstones in a coin shape are found above each dangle. Rainbow fluorite can be found in shades of aqua, violet, green, purple, and clear, sometimes with bands of colors. The lower coins are a rich shade of medium green and the upper coins are pale aqua. Since the gemstones are translucent, they glow wonderfully when the earrings are worn. To add more fun to the earrings, a faceted light Siam red Swarovski crystal bicone (to mimic the hearts) was added to each sterling silver French hook earwire. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the lightweight HORSE LOVE earrings are a perfect gift for a horse lover who adores unique jewelry that are also mini works of art!
