The one of a kind CORDIS handmade earrings are a wonderful gift for the woman who loves unique heart jewelry! The earrings feature artisan textured pewter heart charms, artisan lampwork glass nugget beads, rose quartz and sterling silver. The eye-catching charms were artisan designed and individually hand cast from lead free pewter. What a wonderful design: textured hearts, each with a spiral and a small flower. The hearts were given an aged patina and then polished to bring out the texture. The back side of each charm has a small heart and the artist’s maker’s mark.

Adding great beauty to the earring design are artisan lampwork glass bead nuggets and rose quartz gemstones. The artisan lampwork glass nuggets were created in glossy shades of lavender and butterscotch dotted with fine silver mimicking the texture of the hearts. Since they are nuggets, the lampwork glass beads are not perfectly round; each has its own personality. Above each lampwork nugget is a translucent, light pink rose quartz rondelle. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the wonderful earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the CORDIS earrings were created for the woman who loves to wear one of a kind heart jewelry! “Cordis” is Latin for “of the heart.”

Silver is a metal of love and healing; it is a mirror to the soul, helping us to see ourselves as others see us.
