The TORTUGAS VERDES handmade earrings are a perfect jewelry gift for any woman who adores turtles. The one of a kind artisan dangle earrings feature translucent green Czech glass turtle beads, Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling. The turtle beads were created in the Czech Republic from translucent pressed glass in a rich green color, rounded on the front and flat on the back. As you can see, there is great detailing on the rounded shell highlighted by a metallic gold Picasso finish which settled into the recessed areas. The backs of the turtles are flat with a bit of the Picasso finish. Since the green glass is very translucent, the earrings glow beautifully when worn. Please note: the turtle beads have been glued so that they don't rotate, the front side is always hanging in the front.
Adding great sparkle to the design are glittering, faceted Swarovski crystal bicones in a lovely color called “olivine.” Just imagine the eye-catching sparkle every time you move your head! An additional olivine crystal was added to each sterling silver French hook earwires for additional flash. The TORTUGAS VERDES earrings were carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs for the woman who loves one of a kind artisan turtle jewelry! “Tortugas verdes” is Spanish for “green turtles.”
