Filled with the beauty of flowers and birds on a warm spring day, the SPRING HAS SPRUNG handmade art earrings are perfect for the woman who loves unique boho jewelry that are a piece of original art. A one of a kind design, the earrings feature hand painted original art flower dangles, glowing Czech glass birds and glittering Swarovski crystals. The flower dangles were individually artisan handmade from polymer clay. Looking like a watercolor painting, an impressionistic flower with long leaves were hand drawn and painted with: pink petals and a purple disc in the center, The leaf area is washed with bluish green and the sky is a medium baby blue. A thin layer of textured green polymer clay is on the back. Similar but also different, the earrings are very lightweight since the flower dangles were created from polymer clay.
Just above each flower dangle is a lovely, glowing translucent Czech glass bird. The birds were created from milky blue opaline pressed glass with a matte, sea glass finish. To add an aged, rustic look, a gold metallic Picasso finish was added to settle in the crevices to bring out the details of the wings, the eyes and the tails. As you can see in photo #2, the birds glow when the earrings are worn. Adding great sparkle, a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone sits on top of each bird. They are a color called “blue zircon”, a rich, tropical blue color. Sterling silver French hooks with copper bead accents finish the beauties.
