The CHRISTMAS CARDINALS earrings feature artisan red cardinal dangles, artisan lampwork glass beads, faceted Czech glass beads and sterling silver. The lovely, mirror-image red cardinal dangles were created with a permanent metal transfer onto lightweight aluminum circles with silky smooth edges. The dangles have a vintage watercolor look. A male red cardinal is perched on a red poinsettia against a snow white background. A white Christmas rose is found in front of each bird along with a pine cone and greenery. The back side of each charm is a silvery gray. Since the dangles are made from aluminum, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.
Stacked above the cardinal dangles are lampwork glass beads and red Czech glass beads. Individually artisan made, the lampwork beads were created from red glass with an icy frosted finish. Above each lampwork bead is one faceted red and a faceted silver Czech glass bead. Since the glass is translucent for both the lampwork and red beads, they glow beautifully when the earrings are worn. Sterling silver French hook earwires with faceted silver Czech bead accents finish the wonderful earrings.
