Filled with whimsical fun, the sweet, petite FEATHERED FRIENDS earrings are a perfect handmade jewelry gift for the bird lover. Created with shiny sterling bird dangles, the one of a kind earrings also are perfectly accented by translucent aqua Czech glass beads and lapis lazuli gemstones. The unique silver charms feature a primitive / petroglyph-style bird with a large bill looking down, perhaps searching for food in the water at its feet. Raised against the background, the bird and wavy water design provide lovely texture. The back of the charms are stamped with .925, indicating they are sterling silver. Please be assured that the charms are a high shine silver color - when photographed, they picked up the various colors of my shirt.
To add simple beauty and to provide a “watery” feel, Czech glass beads and lapis lazuli gemstones were used. The translucent Czech beads are faceted with a radiant aqua blue color that glows spectacularly when the earrings are worn. Above the glass beads are faceted dark blue lapis lazuli gemstones that have a subtle sparkle. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the fun earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the FEATHERED FRIENDS earrings are beautifully lightweight to wear and will provide much joy to the woman who loves birds / is a birder and loves one of a kind artisan jewelry!
