Item Description
A wonderful handmade jewelry gift for the bee lover or apiarist, the one of a kind PRETTY POLLINATORS earrings feature lightweight bees on flowers dangles, Czech glass beads in two shapes / colors and sterling silver. The round charms were individually artisan handmade from aluminum (for a faux tin look) with a permanent decal and smooth edges. On each colorful dangle is a bee in black and shades of brown actively nectaring on rosy pink flowers with a yellowish flower on the side. A white background brings out all the wonderful detailing of the design. The back side of the charms are silvery.
Perfectly highlighting the colors found on the dangles are Czech glass beads. The first is a faceted medium tan rondelle with a darker brown and gray Picasso finish. Above each of these are two coral red Czech glass discs with a silvery metallic wash. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the fun earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the lightweight to wear PRETTY POLLINATORS earrings will be a much appreciated jewelry gift for the woman who loves bees and is concerned about their worldwide decline.
