The fun BEES BUZZIN’ one of a kind earrings are a perfect handmade jewelry gift for the woman who loves bees . . . and worries about their plunging numbers happening worldwide. The meaningful earrings feature turquoise blue, two-sided Czech glass bee beads, corrugated copper beads and sterling silver. The fun bee coins were created from premium turquoise blue glass with a flying bee design recessed into each side of the shiny, opaque beads. To bring out the exquisite details of the bees and to provide an antiqued look, a metallic gold Picasso finish was added which settled into the recesses. Because the glass bee coins were made in small batches, each are very similar but also a bit different, as you can see in the photos. The earrings are beautiful from any angle since the bee beads are two-sided.
To add simple elegance and to highlight the glass bee beads, a corrugated copper bead was added above and below each coin, along with a small, smooth copper bead. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the lovely earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the unique BEES BUZZIN’ earrings will be a much loved jewelry gift for the woman who wants to show her support of these important pollinators and loves to wear one of a kind, artisan earrings.
