Unique handmade jewelry that is filled with ancient symbolism found in many ancient (and modern) cultures, the CRANN BETHADH necklace features a glowing mother of pearl Tree of Life pendant, green prehnite gemstones, Austrian crystals and sterling silver. The beautiful Tree of Life pendant was intricately hand carved from white mother of pearl. Just look at the amazing cut out details: a majestic tree raising its branches to the heavens. Like all mother of pearl, the tree pendant has a high sheen (which the photos, don’t show, unfortunately), with some pale pinks and greens showing up when the light hits it just right. The back of the pendant is smootn and doesn’t show all the detailing from the front (photo #10).

Oval green prehnite gemstones and green Austrian crystals perfectly highlight the Tree of Life pendant. Prehnite is normally a translucent pale green gemstone often flecked with dark inclusions, as are many of the stones used in the necklace. Ten faceted light green “chrysolite” Austrian crystal bicones, five on each side, add great sparkle to the design. A sterling silver hook clasp set with raised dots finishes the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind CRANN BETHADH necklace was created for the woman who loves artisan tree jewelry filled with meaningful imagery. “Crann bethadh” is Celtic for “Tree of Life.”

The unique CRANN BETHADH artisan necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals. It will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
