Even though the one of a kind TIBETAN SPIRIT handmade earrings are small in size, they have a vibrant boho, ethnic style! The lightweight earrings feature Tibetan inlaid bone beads, red coral, turquoise magnesite and sterling silver. Purchased Fair Trade, the Tibetan beads were individually made by Tibetan artists living in Nepal. Created in the traditional manner, the beads were made from yak bone, a material that has been used for centuries to create jewelry. The off white bone beads were carved around the middle and then inlaid with pieces of real turquoise and red coral. Since the Tibetan beads are individually made, each bead varies somewhat from the other. Please note: the color of the bone is actually whiter than what the photos show.

To perfectly highlight the Tibetan beads, red coral discs and turquoise magnesite round gemstones sit on top, separated by sterling daisy spacers. The coral is a deep red color with a high sheen. The turquoise magnesite is a lovely blue with a bit of natural black matrix. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the lovely earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the TIBETAN SPIRIT earrings are a wonderful gift for the woman who loves to wear lightweight, ethnic inspired jewelry.
