The colorful COSMIC MANDALA handmade earrings are lightweight to wear and are so much fun! The earrings feature artisan sun and moon mandala polymer clay dangles, golen opal lampwork glass beads, amber Austrian crystals, copper and sterling silver. The round dangles were individually artisan made from a reddish brown polymer clay. A permanent transfer was added. The dangles were then coated with a jewelry-grade varnish for a wonderful sheen, protection and durability. The very colorful design is fanciful: a sun face and a crescent moon face nestled together with an intricate mandala design around them in oranges, red, aquas, purples and other colors. The back side of each is the reddish brown color of the polymer clay.
Adding a celestial glow to the earring design are lampwork glass beads and Austrian crystals A rounded nugget shape, the lampwork beads have a core of golden opal glass. To create a breathtaking glow, peachy gold and sunny yellow foils were added and then encased with transparent glass. As the angle of the light changes, so does the shimmer of the foil. Since the lampwork beads were individually handmade, they are similar but also somewhat different. Adding sparkle, a faceted dark amber Austrian crystal bicone sits on top of each glass bead. Sterling silver French hooks with copper bead accents finish the amazing earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the COSMIC MANDALA earrings were created for the woman who adores one of a kind artisan jewelry!
