The gorgeous RUNNING WILD handmade necklace is a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who loves horses, spiral suns and petroglyphs. The one of a kind necklace features an artisan lead free pewter pendant, genuine turquoise nuggets and sterling silver. The two-sided, hammered-look pewter pendant has a wonderfully rustic appeal to it. One side has a pair of petroglyph-style running horses with a Zia-inspired spiral sun (see photo #4) found on the opposite side. Both glyphs are found at many ancient sites worldwide. The horse and spiral sun pendant was oxidized and then polished to bring out all the beautiful detail.

To add a huge dose of Southwestern vibes, genuine turquoise nuggets add fabulous texture to the necklace. The colors of the gemstones range from sky blue to green, many with natural black or brown matrix. Adding a wonderful glow are sterling silver beads that separate groupings of turquoise in the front of the design. A dot textured sterling silver hook clasp set finishes the wonderful necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the RUNNING WILD petroglyph horse and spiral sun pendant was created for the woman who is a horse lover and adores wearing Southwest-inspired jewelry!

Pewter is believed to be very grounding, bringing the wearer back to reality. Turquoise, a gemstone sacred to many Native Americans, is a stone of wholeness, promoting a sense of unity with all that surrounds us; it brings peace of mind, a soothing energy and healing of the spirit. The RUNNING WILD artisan necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio.
