Such a unique handmade necklace for the woman who loves ravens and crows, (maybe as a spirit animal?). The eye-catching FITHEACH necklace features wooden raven pendant, earthy picture jasper gemstones and sterling silver. The wooden pendant is artisan made and a one of a kind piece. A raven design was meticulously wood burned into the pendant, along with a crescent moon, a flower, a bird and foliage. Just look at the amazing details of the art! The front side of the wooden pendant was given a coating of preservative to insure many years of wearing pleasure. The back of the pendant is natural.

Adding a huge dose of earthy flair, two sizes of landscape jasper (also known as picture jasper) were used. This jasper is known for its natural inclusions that resemble desert landscape paintings, each stone different from the others. Larger picture jasper rounds (8 mm) are found in the front and smaller (5 mm) at the back, each grouping separated by small sterling silver beads. A sterling silver toggle clasp set securely fastens the unique necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the FITHEACH necklace is a wonderful gift for the woman who adores birds in the Corvidae family and loves to wear one of a kind artisan jewelry! “Fitheach” is Scottish Gaelic for “raven.”

Wood is a symbol of stability, strength and being firmly grounded. Landscape Jasper is said to be a stone of harmony, a powerful grounding stone that promotes connections to the earth. Silver is a metal of love and healing; it is a mirror to the soul, helping us to see ourselves as others see us.

The FITHEACH necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals. It will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
