Sweet and petite, the MIDNIGHT HOOTS handmade owl earrings are a fab gift for the woman who adores both owls and jewelry that is on the smaller side. The one of a kind earrings feature Czech glass owl beads, Swarovski crystals, blue Czech glass beads and sterling silver. The small owl beads were created from matte jet black glass with an owl design on both sides. The beads were given an aurora borealis (AB) metallic rainbow finish on one side to bring out the amazing details. The AB finish color shifts depending on the angle of the light: mainly blues, aquas and gold. Since the back side of the owl beads do not have the AB finish, the owl earrings were created so the glowing side always faces forward.

Above each owl, perfectly highlighting the colors of the AB metallic finish, is a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone jet black with an aurora borealis finish in ½ of the crystal. Just as with the owl beads, the crystals color shift depending on the angle of the light. A faceted medium blue Czech glass spacer beads sits above each crystal and as an accent on each of the sterling silver French hook earwires. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the MIDNIGHT HOOTS earrings were created for the woman who loves small artisan made owl earrings!
