Ruby Red Bicone Earrings, Turquoise Mykonos Copper Handmade Earrings

Perfectly named, the one of a kind RUBY TUESDAY (name credit to the Rolling Stones) handmade earrings are a wonderful artisan jewelry gift for the woman who adores red. The sweet and petite earrings feature glowing ruby red glass bicone beads, turquoise patinated Mykonos bead caps, copper and sterling silver. The grooved bicone beads were made in small batches in the Czech Republic from translucent ruby red glass that comes to life when back lit - their luminosity is absolutely stunning! To give a vintage vibe, a glimmering copper metallic Picasso finish was added which settled into the grooves to bring out the detailing. Since the ruby red bicones were created in small batches, they are very similar but also a bit different.
To add even more rich color to the earring design, rustic bead caps made on the Greek island of Mykonos cap the top and bottom of each ruby red bicone bead. The bead caps were cast from nickel and lead free metal, plated in copper and then given a greenish blue patina. They have a wonderful rustic look, each bead cap being just a bit different from the others. Sterling silver French hooks with copper bead accents finish the lovely earrings.
