Eye-catching jewelry to show your patriotism on the 4th of July, Flag Day, Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day and any other patriotic holiday, the OLD GLORY one of a kind earrings are lightweight and very sparkly! The handmade earrings feature upcycled tin dangles with an American flag design, Swarovski crystals in the three American flag colors and sterling silver. The fun dangles were recycled from a reclaimed decorative tea tin. They were cut out in a rectangular shape with rounded corners; all edges have been ground to a smooth finish. The upper part of the high shine U.S. flag dangles shows white stars against blue with swirling red and white stripes making up the rest of the dangles. As you can see, the flag dangles are similar but are also not the same since they were cut from different parts of the tea tin. The back side is a smooth silvery-gold color.
Adding a huge amount of sparkle and to continue with the patriotic theme, three faceted Swarovski crystal bicones are stacked above the flag dangles, each separated by a small sterling silver bead. From top to bottom the colors are: light Siam red, clear crystal and indigo blue. The crystals glitter at every movement of the head when the earrings are worn. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the wonderful beauties. The American flag represents the original 13 colonies and the stars represent the 50 states of the Union; red symbolizes hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice. Tin is a metal associated with success and prosperity. Even though man made, crystals carry the energies of transformation, rebirth and communication.
