Jack O Lantern Halloween Pumpkin Earrings, Swarovski Handmade Jewelry
Item Description
What a fun pair of handmade Jack O’ Lantern earrings, perfect for Halloween wear! The aptly named, one of a kind HALLOWEEN PUMPKINS earrings feature artisan enamel pumpkin dangles, Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver. Individually artisan made, each pumpkin was created from a copper base that was enameled with a background of medium yellow. A stencil was used to create the Jack O’Lantern design using bright orange glass powders, a wonderful contrast against the yellow. The pumpkin charms were kiln fired at high heat at approximately 1475 degrees F to fuse everything together. As you can see from the photos, the orange and yellow pumpkin charms hang at a fun and flirty angle, creating wonderful eye appeal. The back side of each Halloween pumpkin is enameled in dark blue with small white speckles. Since the Jack O’ Lanterns are individually artisan made, they are very similar in design but are also a bit different. ***Please note: Even though the enamel pumpkin charms are very durable, they are glass fused to copper. If an earring is dropped on a hard surface, the glass can crack or chip.
To perfectly highlight the Jack O’ Lantern pumpkin dangles and to add mega sparkle, two sizes and shapes of faceted Swarovski crystals were stacked above. The color is called “fire opal,” shading from a light yellow-orange to a darker red-orange, a perfect complement to the colors of the pumpkins. The bottom Swarovski crystal is round in shape, separated from the bicone above by a small copper bead. The unique earrings are finished with sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the HALLOWEEN PUMPKINS earrings will definitely add Halloween fun wherever you wear them: to work, hanging out with friends and to spooky Halloween parties!
