Item Description

The size of the SKY FLOWERS handmade pansy flower earrings might be on the smaller size, but they definitely pack a perfect punch of fashion sense! Captivating floral jewelry to wear all year long, the one of a kind earrings feature two-sided sky blue opal glass flower beads, faceted blue luster Czech spacers, copper and sterling silver. The flower beads were made in the Czech Republic from translucent sky blue opal glass. A metallic copper Picasso finish was applied to bring out the exquisite detailing of the beads and to give them a vintage look. The finish was polished off, leaving the metallic copper in the recessed center of the pansies, to delineate each of the five petals and on the edge of each bead. Because of the opal-like quality of the glass, the shades of blue can shift from pale blue to blue with an aqua tint (as you can see in the photos). These earrings are attractive from any angle since the flower beads are two-sided and positively glwo when worn. .

To add sparkle to the overall earring design, small faceted blue luster beads were used. Two are stacked above the flowers and one added below, separated by a small copper daisy spacer. The blue luster added with faceting adds great glitter. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finishes the glowing earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SKY FLOWERS were created for the woman who loves one of a kind artisan designed flower earrings!
