Charming, lightweight jewelry for the woman who loves flowers, the one of a kind BELLES FLEURS earrings are perfect to wear for dress up and dress down. The unique handmade earrings feature antiqued brass flower teardrops, artisan lampwork glass beads, Czech glass, copper and sterling silver. The flower teardrops were artisan stamped using a vintage design onto raw brass. The brass was patinated to give an aged look and then polished to bring out the amazing detail. Each teardrop has a single five-petaled flower in the middle with swirled and hatched markings to enhance the beauty. The lightweight brass flower drops are somewhat convex to catch and reflect the light at each movement of the head when worn. The back is also patterned, a reverse of the front. Since the brass flower teardrops are two-sided, the earrings look amazing from any angle.
Above the brass flower charms are artisan lampwork beads and Czech glass discs. The lampwork beads were individually handmade, are Saturn-shaped and were created from translucent light pink glass with small swirls of purple, teal and peach glass. Just above the lampwork beads, separated by copper discs, are frosted Czech glass discs in a rich teal color that glows beautifully when the earrings are worn. The exquisite earrings are finished with sterling silver French hook earwires, each with a 3 mm copper bead accent. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the beautiful BELLES FLEURS artisan earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who adores flowers and loves to wear lightweight floral jewelry. “Belles fleurs” is French for “pretty flowers.”
