Dog Mom Necklace, Heart Paw Print Opalite Turquoise Handmade Jewelry

The DOG MOM handmade necklace is a perfect jewelry gift for the woman who loves her dog(s) so she can broadcast loud and clear that she is a dog lover! The one of a kind necklace features an artisan ceramic dog mom pendant, oval opalite glass beads, real turquoise and copper. The meaningful rustic-style pendant was artisan handmade from ceramic clay. It’s heart shaped with “Dog Mom” inscribed into it. To add a touch of whimsy, the “o” of “mom” was formed into a sweet paw print. The pendant was kiln fired at high heat after being hand painted in a rich turquoise color with dark brown highlights on the lettering and the edge of the heart. As an added bonus, the back of the pendant, which has a rustic flower, circle and crescent moon design, was left unglazed to act as an essential oil diffuser. Just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the back and the porous ceramic will hold the aroma for hours. Two heavy duty copper jump rings securely connect the dog mom heart pendant to the main body of the necklace. Please note: even though the pendant has been fired for strength and durability, if it is struck on a hard surface, the pendant could crack or chip.
To perfectly complement the turquoise color of the dog mom pendant, glowing opalite glass beads and real turquoise nuggets were used. Opalite is a type of glass that mimics the color shifting beauty of opals: tinges of blue, purple, yellow and other colors are seen depending on the angle of the light. The translucent opalite used in the necklace is a four-sided oval shape that beautifully refracts the light (much prettier in real life than the photos show). Between each opalite oval is a real turquoise nugget in a lovely blue. A small copper bead separates each nugget from the opalite. A pure copper s-clasp set securely finishes the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the DOG MOM necklace is a meaningful gift for the woman who loves dogs and also loves wearing one of a kind artisan jewelry.

Copper is said to allow the wearer to recognize barriers in the path of personal development.
The DOG MOM artisan necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals. It will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
