Filled with color-shifting holiday beauty, the CRYSTAL TREES handmade earrings are perfect to wear to Christmas parties, to work and during casual times with friends. Brilliantly eye-catching jewelry, the earrings feature German crystal Christmas trees, Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver. The Christmas trees were created from glittering clear crystal glass with a special medium vitrail coating applied to the back. When you look at the trees straight on, through the crystal, they are mostly a dark forest green. But as the angle changes at each movement of the head when the earrings are worn, brilliant fuchsia pinks and purples and blues flash dazzlingly. They are absolutely breath-taking! I just wish the photos did the crystal trees justice! A wavy design separates the trees into three sections.
All Christmas trees need a star so a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was wire wrapped to sparkle just above the trees. The color is called “sunflower,” a rich, bright yellow. A small copper bead caps the top and bottom of each crystal. Sterling silver French hooks accented with small copper beads finish these brilliant earrings. Christmas trees (evergreens) are a symbol of eternal life, vitality and magic. Even though man made, crystal (glass) carries the energies of transformation, rebirth and communication. Copper is used to allow the wearer to recognize barriers in the path of personal development. Silver is a metal of love and healing; it is a mirror to the soul, helping us to see ourselves as others see us.
