Cat Lover Earrings, Orange Tabby Kitty Vintage Look Handmade Jewelry
Item Description
What a perfect jewelry gift for the cat lover, especially if they have an orange tabby! The fun, lightweight-to-wear PRETTY KITTY handmade earrings feature artisan vintage-look cat dangles, faceted Czech glass rondelles, Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver. The square-shaped kitty cat charms look as if they are from well-loved pieces of vintage jewelry pieces. But they are faux vintage, having been individually artisan hand cut, filed and smoothly sanded from modern copper. A permanent metal transfer was applied and then the charms were sealed for years of wearing pleasure. The white-chinned orange tabby cats are looking to the left, eyes wide with adoration, on a background of light yellow with faded script. A reddish brown flower is found in the bottom left hand corner. Swirling pale lines are found in the bottom right corner. As you can see, the detailing is amazing! Since the cat charms are individually artisan made, they are very similar but are also just a bit different. The backside of each charm is smooth, shiny copper which will gradually gain a patina over time. Because the charms are made from copper, the earrings are very lightweight to wear.
Complementing the tabby cat charms wonderfully are faceted apricot orange Czech glass rondelles and glitter dark brown Swarovski crystals. The Czech glass beads are a lonely shade of apricot orange. They have a dark brown Picasso finish on the top and bottom with a few dots in the mid part. Since the apricot orange beads are faceted, they provide subtle sparkle to the design. Two faceted Swarovski crystal bicones in a rich dark brown color called smoked topaz are stacked above the rondelles, separated by small copper beads. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the fun earrings.
