Aqua Silver Earrings, Rustic Czech Glass Nugget Red Handmade Jewelry

Filled with lovely aqua water vibes of a breathtaking beach in Hawaii, the KA WAI handmade earrings are one of a kind jewelry beauties you will want to wear time and time again. The gorgeous earrings are created from rustic Czech glass nuggets in aqua and silver, frosted teal glass discs, frosted garnet red with purple glass rondelles, pewter and sterling silver. With a worn, wave tumbled look, the glass nuggets were created in the Czech Republic from translucent aqua glass with a gleaming silver metallic Picasso finish. The nuggets are an antique English cut with ten flat faceted faces, five on top and five on the bottom. Since the glass is translucent, the earrings glow beautifully when worn. Silver pewter floral bead caps are found on the top and bottom of each nugget. Please note, since the nuggets are made in small batches, they are very similar but are also somewhat different, as you can see in the photos.
Adding color and fun to the earring design, two other types of Czech glass beads were used: teal discs and red rondelles. The dark teal discs have a silky frosted glass finish and glow amazingly. The rondelles are a rich garnet red color with a metallic lavender / light blueish Picasso finish on about ¼ of the bead. The color of the metallic finish shifts depending on the angle of the light. Since all of the glass beads used in the design are translucent, the earrings are certainly eye-catching when worn due to their amazing glow. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the beauties. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the KA WAI earrings are a perfect gift for the woman who loves one of a kind glowing jewelry reminiscent of the color of the water of Hawaiian beaches. “Ka wai” is Hawaiian for “aqua.”
