Jewelry that will be a treasured keepsake, the beautiful, one of a kind PERFECT ANGEL handmade necklace features a two sided pewter angel dog pendant with rare red rutilated quartz, real turquoise and sterling silver. The unique pendant, an artisan original design, was cast from lead free pewter and has a gorgeous old silver glow about it (something some of the photos don’t show too well). On the front of the round pendant is a raised angel dog design, a dog with a loving look stares straight on with flopped over ears and a pair of angel wings. The back side is inscribed with “Perfect Angel.” The pendant has a wonderfully rustic look to it and is securely connected to the main body of the necklace with two heavy duty sterling silver jump rings.
Star cut red rutilated quartz and genuine turquoise gemstones perfectly highlighting the sweet angel dog pendant. Red rutilated quartz is a rather rare gemstone, not something you see often. The hair-like rutile inclusions and reddish splotches in the quartz is iron oxide - since there is a lot of iron oxide, the rutiles are a reddish color as opposed to the more common black. As you can see in the photos, some of the stones are darker and some are lighter. The gemstone shape is a breathtaking star cut, large facets that show off the qualities of the red rutilated quartz and add a wonderful sparkle. To add a pop of complimentary color, seven small, blue turquoise flat nuggets, along with tiny sterling silver beads, separate the first eight star cut gemstones. Then a turquoise nugget separates every grouping of 3 quartz along with sterling beads.
