Afghan Filigree Brass Necklace, Red Black Glass Coral Handmade Jewelry
Item Description
A stunning one of a kind design for the woman who loves unique jewelry, the ZEBA handmade necklace will be worn time and time again. Featuring a beautifully rustic Afghan pendant, it also has recycled glass beads, red coral and copper. The teardrop-shaped brass pendant was artisan made in Afghanistan with an intricate filigree-style diamond design backed by shiny red coral glass. A dotted edging highlights the inset diamond with a swirling leafy design on the side of the pendant. The back is mostly smooth.
Perfectly highlighting the Afghan pendant are recycled glass beads, red coral and copper. The lovely recycled beads were individually handmade in Ghana from red and black swirled glass. Because they were individually handmade, they are not exactly the same size and shape, adding even more rustic beauty to the necklace. Mimicking the color of the pendant’s red glass are red coral rounds scattered through the design. Copper discs separate each recycled glass bead and coral round. A copper hook clasp with a leafy design finishes the necklace. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the ZEBA necklace was created for the woman who loves one of a kind jewelry with a wonderfully rustic appeal. “Zēbā” is Dari (a language spoken in Afghanistan) for “beautiful.”

The one of a kind ZEBA artisan teardrop pendant necklace was carefully designed and handmade in a dog friendly, smoke free studio. The necklace will come with two informational drop tags: one with the piece's name; the other lists the materials used in the necklace and the language of the stones and metals. It will be carefully packed in an organza jewelry bag, perfect for gift giving to a loved one . . . or to yourself!
